The Mueller® Hot/Cold Lumbar Back Brace helps relieve lower back pain by providing support to strains, sprained and aching backs. It comes with a dual sided, removable lumbar pad for varying levels of support, as well as a removable hot/cold pack to help reduce pain and swelling. This versatile back brace has secondary straps for custom fit and compression. This brace also doubles a posture support which allows for you to wear it throughout the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Contructed The Mueller back brace is reasonably well constructed. It employs the expected zigzag stitching on the elastic panels. It uses single stitching around the Velcro adjusters. It has an overall length of just over 49 inches, and according to the package will fit people with an abdomen measurement of 30 to 48 inches. The tallest of the belt is about 8 ½ inches wide (in the back). It employs 2 sets of stiffeners (rigid plastic ribs) on either side of the back panel to help keep the belt shape. The belt employees, what can best be described, as a ‘belt over a belt ’construction. Both belts are independently adjustable. There is a unique ’pocket’ design over the fastening Velcro that provides a place to better grasp the elastic material. There is a Velcro fastened pouch in the back of the belt that is about 9 ½ inches wide. This pouch can hold a reversible (padded or rigid) lumbar pad or a reusable hot/cold pack (both provided). This section is made of a porous weave fabric providing a better thermal transfer with the thermal pack. The belt that I received had a tag indicating that it was “Made in Vietnam”. My only concern was about the stitching around the adjusting Velcro. There is a potential for the single stitching to fail over time. It took me a while to adjust the belt (4 different Velcro adjustments) to as tight as I wanted it and still be comfortable. The belt provided good support. I did not find it overly hot wearing it. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Back belt review I got this product as a product testing item. I would have rated this very fine product higher if it comes in different sizes. With the only size being "One size fits most", I do not fall into the most category. I do very much like the included hot or cold pack as well as the pocket to keep it in so I can enjor either while being mobile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get this brace !! I love Mueller products (back, knee,elbow braces) and feel the quality can’t be beat. I purchased the brace with removable pad and loved the quality and support but it is best worn over clothing and I mostly wear a brace under clothing so I reached out to Mueller and was informed of this 4 in 1 hot/cold brace and I must say I LOVE IT !!! It is comfortable on bare skin and the cold pack is awesome and brought instant relief ! I haven’t tried it hot yet but I’m sure it is also awesome. Also, there’s a pad in the pouch that holds the hot/cold that is reversible depending on what you need. Thanks for recommending this to me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Back support plus I have played sports and worked in construction most of my life and as you get older the back starts to go. Looked for a brace with support and other functions. This brace fir the bill. Was easy to set to my waist to secure a nice comfortable fit. Used it as I sat for a long time for support was excellent Used during some work around the house and really helped support my back. Very impressed. Best part was the ability to use the included cold pack. I placed it in the freezer then in the slot in the brace, wrapped it around and enjoyed the cold compress. Excellent well designed and constructed product. Highly recommended. "I received this product as part of a My-Take research study."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, versatile I received this brace to use and then review. I am thrilled with the versatility it provides. I use it for support when exercising and then can also use it afterwards with the insert which can provide either heat or cold therapy. It is easy to use and wear and is adjustable to provide the correct fit for comfort. It is my first experience with a product from this company and will purchase from them in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for back aches. Wear over shirt. I received this brace as a trial. My back gets achy and I thought this would be beneficial. The first thing I would say is wear it over a shirt. I tried it without and it kept riding up and was uncomfortable. I had it on tight but I didn't want it too tight because that would also have been too uncomfortable. Over a shirt it conformed nicely and was fairly comfortable. The pack included was a nice benefit when feeling extra discomfort in the back. Again my only big issue is having to wear it over a top. I would have preferred to wear it under so it's not noticeable. I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.
