Mueller Introduces NOCSAE Approved Soccer Care™ Products

Mueller Sports Medicine Receives NOCSAE Approval

Mueller Sports Medicine has received NOCSAE approval on the newest member of the Soccer Care™ line. Mueller Soccer Shin Guards have been approved by NOCSAE, the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment. Beginning with the 2008-09 high school soccer season, all shin guards must meet the NOCSAE standard.

According to the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), players must wear NOCSAE approved which are stamped or labeled with the NOCSAE logo. “Mueller Shin Guards follow the strict standards expressed by NOCSAE,” Jeff Endres, National Sales Manager for Mueller Soccer Care said. “In accordance with those standards, the Mueller Shin Guards follow stringent guidelines for labeling and impact performance standards.”

Mueller Shin Guards feature single-strap closures for adjustable guard width and detachable ankle socks for flexible ankle protection. The breathable foam lining provides high comfort while the shatter-resistant ventilated polymer shell provide maximum protection. “The contoured shell is comfortable for players of all ages,” Endres explains, “and the sporty design makes the Mueller Advantage fun to wear!”

General Quote on Sports Medicine for Soccer: (quote Jeff Endres, National Sales Manager – Mueller Soccer Care™) “Soccer is the fastest growing team sport in the United States. Of the 18 million Americans who play soccer today, 78% of them are under the age of eighteen. Because of this, Mueller Sports Medicine saw a rapidly growing need for products to protect these athletes from injury and help them recover quickly. We kept the unique needs of soccer athletes in mind when we developed our dedicated line of Soccer Care™ products.”
