Inside
Sales Representative
The Inside Sales
Representative is responsible for proactive sales to Mueller Sports
Medicine’s Pharmacy customers either purchasing directly or through a
Wholesaler.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Outbound calls to current Pharmacy customers to maintain and grow
their business with MSM.
2. Outbound calls to prospective customers to continually work to open
new business in the Pharmacy market.
3. Maintain up-to-date customer contact records.
4. Record daily sales activity to report on a weekly basis.
5. Problem resolution with customers in a professional, efficient
manner.
6. Act as company contact, answering questions from internal and
external customers.
7. Work with Director on special pricing or terms on specific customers.
8. Work with Account Specialists and Customer Service on account
maintenance and communication.
9. Represent MSM at trade shows as required.
10. Complete customer inquiry and complaint forms daily.
11. Understand and comply with the Mueller Quality System and current
regulatory requirements.
12. Other projects or duties, including travel to specific customers, as
assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical requirements for this position are typical of a normal
office environment.
• Sitting, standing and walking, up to 9 hours a day
• Talking and hearing on the phone and in person
• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee will work in an office environment both as an individual as
well as a team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor of Science degree required – preferably in Business
• Previous sales experience preferred. (2-4 years)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Strong computer skills required – SAP would be a plus
• Ability to travel independently is required
